Since I started CFA-Sound, I’ve always been fascinated by what happens to a sound after it leaves my studio.

Over the years, CFA-Sound presets, samples and sounds have found their way into the music and productions of artists around the world. Some of them are well known names like Chris Liebing, Pig & Dan, Robert Babicz and Jason Nevins. And there are certainly more than a few tracks out there where, somewhere along the way, a little piece of CFA-Sound may have found its place.

Along the way, the products have also been reviewed and featured by music magazines and websites including Computer Music UK, Music Tech Magazine, DJ Mag and many others.

I’ve collected some of those stories here — from artist testimonials and interviews to magazine reviews, blog features and other selected press coverage.

the person behind CFA-Sound and the journey for sounds

For me, these are more than just logos or quotes. They are a record of where the sounds have travelled, who has used them, and how something created in my studio has become part of somebody else’s creative process.

And that is probably the most rewarding part of making sounds: you create something from your own creativity, let it go, and eventually it becomes a small part of someone else’s. A sound can inspire an idea, an idea can become a track, and that track can eventually become part of someone’s life — connected to a moment, a place, a night out, a memory, or simply a feeling they carry with them.

In the end, that’s what makes creating sounds so special to me: something that started as a few oscillators, samples and ideas in my studio can travel much further than I ever could — becoming music, becoming part of someone’s creativity, and ultimately becoming part of someone else’s memories.
